Plaid Cymru have hit out at the Welsh Government’s “complex and shambolic” Covid-19 testing system as the target to reach 5,000 tests a day by tomorrow is set to be missed.

I'm Chad and I’d like to introduce myself. Our local councillor Martin Fiddler Jones has recently announced he will be stepping down sometime in the spring. This gives Plaid a fantastic opportunity to elect a councillor who will dedicate themselves to their community.

The community spirit after the flooding in Pontypridd has been described as amazing by Plaid Cymru Councillors Heledd Fychan and Eleri Griffiths.

The councillors have been working non-stop with their communities to clean-up following the devastating flooding caused by Storm Dennis.

The campaign to save the Accident and Emergency Unit at the Royal Glam Hospital reached the National Assembly in Cardiff today.  The meeting was addressed by Adam Price and Leanne Wood from Plaid Cymru.

Many speakers called for the sacking of the Health Minister for his failure to intervene in the plans to downgrade the A&E Dept.

The Westminster Election provided a positive result for Plaid Cymru, with the retention of the four previously held seats, and our candidate here in the Pontypridd constituency, Fflur Elin secured an increase in vote share. The election also saw the County Councillor for Tonyrefail West elected as the Member of Parliament for the Pontypridd Constituency. It is clear that her election means a by-election will be imminent.
