    The councillors have been working non-stop with their communities to clean-up following the devastating flooding caused by Storm Dennis.

  • Save our A&E Protest

     

    The campaign to save the Accident and Emergency Unit at the Royal Glam Hospital reached the National Assembly in Cardiff today.  The meeting was addressed by Adam Price and Leanne Wood from Plaid Cymru.

    Many speakers called for the sacking of the Health Minister for his failure to intervene in the plans to downgrade the A&E Dept.

  • Neil Morgan selected to contest Tonyrefail West By-election

    The Westminster Election provided a positive result for Plaid Cymru, with the retention of the four previously held seats, and our candidate here in the Pontypridd constituency, Fflur Elin secured an increase in vote share. The election also saw the County Councillor for Tonyrefail West elected as the Member of Parliament for the Pontypridd Constituency. It is clear that her election means a by-election will be imminent.
